The Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) together with the Board of Professional Teachers (BPT) released the list of successful examiners of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) conducted last September 25, 2011 in 18 testing centers in different cities in the Philippines. There are more than 90,000 examiners who took the examination from different parts of the country in elementary and secondary levels, as well as in Accelerated Teacher Education Program (ATEP). As for the passing rate, there are 10,243 elementary teachers out of the 45,171 elementary level examiners (22.68%), 13,125 out of 41,729 examiners for the secondary level (31.45%), and 6 out of the 216 examiners for ATEP (2.78%).
PRC will start the registration for the issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration on December 15, 2011. The requirements for the registration are as follows:
- duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
- 1 pc. 1x1 ID Picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 pcs. 2x2 ID Picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form
- Initial registration fee of 600 and annual registration fee of 450 for 2011-2014
LET Passers should register and sign in to the Roster of Registered Professional PERSONALLY.
