Calling the Police Secretly While Being Robbed in an ATM

resisting ATM robbery tips
I read this information from one of my Facebook friends about how to secretly call the authorities while being robbed in an ATM booth. People withdrawing from ATM are a common target by robbers, and calling for help from the outside, nor resisting is futile. This tip of calling the nearest police station secretly without letting the robbers noticed it is very timely as cases of ATM robbery here in the Philippines increases especially as Christmas season is near.
Listed below are the tips in secretly calling the police while being robbed in an ATM booth:
When a thief forced you to take money from the ATM, do not argue or resist, you might not know what he or
she might do to you. What you should do is to punch your PIN in the reverse...
Eg: If your PIN is 1234, you punch 4321.
The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out
and it will alert the police without the notice of the thief.
Every ATM has it; It is specially made to signify danger and help. Not everyone is aware of this.

worst passwords of 2011
In the online world, there's nothing more important than a password. This string of alphanumeric characters is the key to securing all of your online accounts: from your e-mails to different social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, to different account for online games and many more that needed the epic combination of username and password.
The rule of thumb in creating password is that it should be "hard to guess". It should not be a combination of your name or birthday, a name of your father, a sequence of numbers in the keyboard, or a word in the dictionary. Unfortunately, there are those who seems don't have knowledge of the risks and vulnerabilities of using such obvious words as their security protection. The concrete example is the result of the rankings created by Splash Data on the worst passwords ever used by online users. The result was based on the millions of hacked passwords posted by hackers online.
Here's the complete list of 25 worst passwords of 2011:
- 1. password
- 2. 123456
- 3.12345678
- 4. qwerty
- 5. abc123
- 6. monkey
- 7. 1234567
- 8. letmein
- 9. trustno1
- 10. dragon
- 11. baseball
- 12. 111111
- 13. iloveyou
- 14. master
- 15. sunshine
- 16. ashley
- 17. bailey
- 18. passw0rd
- 19. shadow
- 20. 123123
- 21. 654321
- 22. superman
- 23. qazwsx
- 24. michael
- 25. football
As you can see, the word "password" ranks 1st, which means using it as your security key makes your account an easy target for hackers. In simple words, never used these obvious words (as well as words that are identical, similar or having the same patterns of the above listed) to avoid hackers from completely rob anything from your account especially important and confidential data.
Meanwhile, Splash Data provided common but effective tips in choosing a secure, hard-to-guess passwords for your online accounts:
- 1. Vary different types of characters in your passwords; include numbers, letters and special characters when possible.
- 2. Choose passwords of eight characters or more. Separate short words with spaces or underscores.
- 3. Don’t use the same password and username combination for multiple websites. Use an online password manager to keep track of your different accounts.

I make a living online. This means that having a decent internet connection is a necessity for me to complete my daily tasks (at least 8 hours/day), as well as update my Facebook and Twitter accounts, check my e-mails, watch my favorite anime online, etc. I am a BayanDSL bundle (768kbps + landline) subscriber for more than a year. It has been my partner in making money online through article content writing and captcha encoding over the past year. Just recently, I was hired on a full-time job (thanks for my friend and classmate) in which I have to access remote computers on my pc. Sad to say, BayanDSL can't cope up with what my work needs in terms of speed and connection reliability.
I decided to transfer to a new Internet Service Provider (ISP), and I chose Globe to be my next provider. I applied for Globe Tattoo DSL Bundle ( 1mbps + landline) @ 1295 per month. The application process ran smoothly. The requirements for application is the application form obtained from any Globe office, and a photocopy of any valid ID. It took less than a week for them to process my application and install the connection in our home. Now I'm experiencing a faster and more reliable connection that allows me to do all my work for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. By the way, included in the package are a modem router and a cool Globe landline phone.
Stay tuned in this blog as I will write a review about Globe DSL Bundle in the next few months.
